8. Analytic Tools / Cookies
Google Analytics
The Website uses a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of the Website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this Website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to this Website. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the Website and our products. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with information we collect.
Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Website is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
You may learn more about how Google collects and processes data specifically in connection with Google Analytics here. You may prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We reserve the right to remove or add new analytic tools, cookies, pixels and other tracking technologies.
9. Personal Information Collected from Third Party Sources
Tangos processes data from third-party sources to help provide our Services, including KYC and KYB checks. To the extent Tangos acts as a controller and such processing is subject to the GDPR, please note that we do not provide specific notifications to data subjects in these cases, as we believe an exception under Article 14(5)(b) of the GDPR applies.
Providing such notice could seriously impair the purpose of the processing, particularly where it relates to fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, or similar risk assessments. For the same reason, obtaining consent from the individuals concerned is not feasible, and we rely on our legitimate interests (as recognized in Recital 47 of the GDPR) as the appropriate legal basis for this processing.
Nevertheless, we include this explanation in our privacy policy to provide general transparency about these practices.
